Central Arkansas, the location of Palco’s main office, as well as Texas and many parts of the United States, experienced a historic winter storm this week with nearly 18 inches of snow. As a result, we have experienced unexpected power outages, dangerous driving conditions, and the closing of most businesses in the Central Arkansas area including post offices.
We are working hard to continue our business as usual, but we expect the weather, current road conditions, and the closure of many local post offices to cause a delay in the delivery of vendor paper checks for the February 19th vendor payment date.
To avoid paper check delays in general, we encourage you to sign up for Direct Deposit or a free Money Network Card to ensure fast and seamless payments. You can sign up by completing the Pay Selection and Direct Deposit Form located on the Palco website. If you receive services in New Mexico visit https://palcofirst.com/staging/new-mexico/ for the form and submit it to Conduent as soon as possible!
