Exciting News: West Virginia Palco’s Connect EVV solution is here!

Calling all West Virginia employers and workers, we are making the switch to Palco’s EVV app! We’re thrilled to announce that Palco is launching training sessions to help you get up to speed with our new Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) tools via Palco Connect. Starting November 4th and continuing into January, we will be transitioning users from the AuthentiCare application to the Palco Connect EVV Solution. We will be doing this on all West Virginia waiver programs, but we will be doing so in a phased approach. As we prepare for these transitions, Palco will be hosting live trainings to get everyone up to speed on the Palco Connect EVV app. Our training will make this transition easy!

Prepare for the Change with Training

We are offering multiple sessions to accommodate busy schedules for each of the specific waivers. Click on your applicable waiver below to see the dates and register!

On the date indicated below for your applicable waiver, you will switch to using the Palco Connect EVV solution and stop using the AuthentiCare application.

  • Adding Worksite Locations (Employers)
  • Time Entry with the Palco Connect app
  • Shift Exceptions
  • Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and Activity Codes

What is EVV?

Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) is a validation of the date, time, location, type of Personal Care or Home Health Care Services provided, and the individual(s) providing and receiving services. This information helps to ensure that beneficiaries, clients, or participants receive the expected care.

How do I prepare?

Bring your enthusiasm to training and we’ll handle the rest! If you would like to review the EVV training materials in advance, you can visit the Palco West Virginia program page where they will be posted prior to trainings.
